Vajiralongkorn dam, formerly known as Khao Laem dam, is located in Thong Pha Phum district, Kanchanaburi province.

Power Plant
Vajiralongkorn power plant houses three 100 MW conventional hydroelectric generating units with Francis turbines, which totally provides an average annual energy output of 760 million kWh. The power plant is connected with the national grid system via two 230 kV transmission lines totaling 191 circuit-kilometers: one linking Khao Laem or Vajiralongkorn switchyard and Srinagarind switchyard and another linking Srinagarind switchyard and Ban Pong 2 substation.
