On February 26, 2014 the representatives from 3 electricity utilities led by Mr. Rangsan Athamanolap, EGAT’s Assistant Governor – Corporate Social Affairs, Mr. Somsak Triyanurak, MEA’s Assistant Governor – Corporate Social Responsibility, and Mrs. Chuthapat Kaewwatanabawol, PEA’s Director of CSR, joined the meeting about the program at EGAT headquarter.

Mr. Rangsan said that 3 electricity authorities had constantly implemented CSR programs, but they never cooperated to establish a collaborated CSR program. It would be the good occasion for the 3 authorities to integrate CSR program with the shared purpose and direction for the unity of electricity utilities.

The meeting consensus is to establish two collaborated CSR projects namely solar roof top project implemented in various schools and power preservation youth network project.
