Future Park Rangsit, EGAT, and Haupcar open “EleX by EGAT x HAUP” to bolster energy transition and EV industry of Thailand
30 November 2021On November 29, 2021, Mrs. Nattarin Payoongwong, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing and Business Development of Rangsit Plaza Co., Ltd.; Mr. Adisak Bangmo, Assistant Vice President – Marketing of Rangsit Plaza Co., Ltd.; Mr. Warit Rattanachuen, Assistant Governor – Governor’s Office of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT); and Mr. Krit Vichaiwatanapanich, Managing Director of Haupcar Co., Ltd. (HUAP) joined an opening ceremony of the “EleX by EGAT x HAUP” charging station at the Short Stay Parking Lot, Future park Rangsit. This EV charging station will facilitate EV users who commute from or to Bangkok, those who visit the Future Park Rangsit, and HAUP rental customers.

The EleX by EGAT x HAUP charging station at the Future Park Rangsit is comprised of three 22-kW normal chargers, installed at two parking slots for general customs and one parking slot for HAUP rental customers, servicing three EVs in total at a time. The charging station is now open to the public and the visitors at the Future Park Rangsit. Those interested can easily make a reservation and payment for the EV charging via the application “EleXA” and can rent an EV with over 500 service points nationwide via the application “HAUP.”
EGAT is now on the way to installing and opening the EleX by EGAT of around 43 stations within 2021. Among the plan are three EGAT x HAUP charging stations and more chargers installed at four parking slots on the G floor of Future Park Rangsit’s parking building, which are expected to be available for the public at the end of this year.
