EGAT launches EV charging network operator platform ‘BackEN’ for the convenience of EV charging station investors nationwide

31 January 2022

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) rushed to strengthen Thailand’s electric vehicle (EV) industry and launched products and services to facilitate those who are interested in investing in EV charging stations nationwide. EGAT developed and launched the EV charging network operator platform ‘BackEN’ to assist EV charging station owners in managing the station, namely pricing service rates, setting opening and closing times, viewing real-time data, reserving charging dispensers, and drafting receipts/tax invoices. Charging stations that use BackEN will connect with EGAT’s EleXA application, which will help EV users to be able to search for more charging stations and also increase the number of customers. Moreover, the EleXA application assists the station owners by instantly giving advice and solving problems for the customers twenty-four hours a day.

The ‘BackEN’ service rate starts at only 699 baht/month/device. Those who are interested in investing in EV charging stations may inquire for more information at the Line official account: @backenev.
