1 April 2022

EGAT and Future Park Mall opened a new EV charging station “EleX by EGAT” to support a modern lifestyle of EV users who can “charge and shop” simultaneously. Special privileges are offered to EleX by EGAT customers and Future Park members until May 31, 2022.

Mr. Warit Rattanachuen, Assistant Governor – Project Management Office of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) revealed that EGAT opened a new EleX by EGAT charging station, which is the second one at Future Park Mall, to serve customers who come for shopping and dining to charge the EV cars at the same time.

The two EleX by EGAT charging stations at Future Park Mall are located at the ground floor of parking building and outside Short Stay Building next to Haupcar parking area. Both stations provide normal charge which can charge up to 22 kW and service six EVs in total at a time. Until May 31, 2022 a customer who charges the car at Future Park Mall will be granted 300 EleXA points that can be redeemed for other privileges in EleXA application. Each customer can get this special offer only once from a total of 200 offers throughout the promotion duration.

Mrs. Nattarin Payoongwong, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing and Business Development of Rangsit Plaza Co., Ltd. said that EV growing popularity is driven by environmental conservation trend with a focus on clean energy to reduce pollution together with the government’s measures for the promotion of EV. During the current situation of petrol price crisis, switching to EV is a good choice.

Moreover, Future Park Mall, ZPELL, and EGAT have launched a special promotion for Future Park members. They can exchange 200 points to a 50 Baht voucher to pay for charging fee at every EleX by EGAT charging station nationwide. The points can be exchanged via Line @Futurepark.
