‘Charge and Shop’ with first EleX by EGAT and MBK at Paradise Park, get privileges up to end of August
12 July 2022EGAT joined with MBK Group to support EV users by opening the first EleX by EGAT charging station for ‘Charge and Shop’ lifestyles at Paradise Park and is rushing to open additional two stations, totaling three stations, within the third quarter of this year. Privileges will be provided for customers from July 15 – August 31, 2022.
Mr. Warit Rattanachuen, Assistant Governor – Project Management Office of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) revealed that EGAT and MBK Public Company Limited are ready to support and facilitate EV users in Thailand by emphasizing the expansion of charging stations for MBK Group customers or EV users with ‘Charge and Shop’ lifestyles. The first EleX by EGAT charging station is now open for service at Paradise Park. Next will be the opening of additional two stations: Nine Center Rama 9 and Nine Center Tiwanon. All three stations will be open by the third quarter of this year. Meanwhile, an EleX by EGAT charging station for the ‘Charge and Relax’ lifestyle is already open for service at Riverdale Golf Club in Pathum Thani Province, a golf course in the MBK Group.
The EleX by EGAT charging station at Paradise Park includes three slots of 7.4-kW AC Normal Charge at Entrance C, Floor 1A, Columns 14-15. Customers that use the service from July 15 – August 31, 2022 will receive 50% off charging expenses (maximum 50 Baht), one privilege per customer, totaling 100 privileges for the duration.
Miss Jaroonrat Salee, Managing Director of Paradise Park Co., Ltd. said that EVs are an alternative which help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and impact on the environment. Currently, the amount of EV users in Thailand are continuing to increase. To meet the EV user lifestyle demands, MBK cooperated with EGAT to open the EleX by EGAT charging station at Paradise Park. Customers can charge while spending time at the department store every day from 10.00 – 21.00 hours.
Moreover, Paradise Park prepared special promotions for EleXA members who use the charging station.
