EGAT Earns Regional Recognition with Three Prestigious Awards at the 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards
3 November 2025EGAT has made a significant mark on the regional stage by winning three accolades at the 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), reflecting its comprehensive approach to disclosing its sustainability performance.
The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) was honored with Silver Awards in two categories, Asia’s Best Environmental Impact Reporting and Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Human Rights), as well as a Bronze Award in Asia’s Best Stakeholder Reporting, in recognition of its 2024 Sustainability Report.

The awards ceremony was held on October 24, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Representing EGAT at the event were Mr. Numpol Photiwong, Director of Sustainability Strategy Division, and Mrs. Dhidawan Swangkarn, Assistant Director of the same division.


These achievements reaffirm EGAT’s ongoing commitment to high–quality sustainability reporting and its progress in managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities with transparency and accountability.
The Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), organized by CSRWorks International since 2015, is a prestigious, non–profit platform that honors excellence in sustainability reporting across Asia. The judging process is rigorous, based on criteria of clarity, credibility, completeness and alignment with international standards including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), and Task Force on Climate–related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations.


The 11th edition of ASRA brought together leading organizations from 17 countries and various industries, marking another significant milestone that highlights EGAT’s progress toward becoming a regional role model in sustainable energy.
