INNOPOWER appoints ‘Athip Tantivorawong’ as CEO

INNOPOWER Company Limited appointed Mr. Athip Tantivorawong as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the company towards an organization of energy and technology innovation; while expanding business competition opportunities in order to cope with hyper disruption.

INNOPOWER Company Limited shareholders approved the appointment of Mr. Athip Tantivorawong as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on February 1, 2022 due to his experience and expertise in business management which will help drive the company towards its goal of becoming an organization of energy and technology innovation, expand business competition opportunities for shareholding companies, and support energy innovation development in Thailand.

Mr. Athip Tantivorawong graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and a dual-joint master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and in Business Administration from Leland Stanford Junior University, USA. The first CEO also has over 12 years of experience in the energy business at PTT and affiliates, namely Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC), and PTT Oil and Retail Public Company Limited (PTTOR), including Café Amazon.

Moreover, Mr. Athip Tantivorawong has success in technology and startup businesses in both Thailand and overseas, such as Amazon in the USA, Rakuten in Japan, iMENA Group in Jordan, and HappyFarmers and WEALTHI in Thailand, and was also acknowledged as a significant figure by the Obama Foundation and the Future List.
