EGAT ranks AA in 2022 Integrity and Transparency Assessment

The result reflects EGAT determination in performing its operation with good governance, morality, and transparency.

Mr. Boonyanit Wongrukmit, Governor of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), revealed that the NACC announced the assessment result of 2022 Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) on August 1, 2022, in which over 8,300 public organizations got assessed. EGAT scores 96.65, ranking AA (95.00-100.00 scores), which is the highest score of EGAT since its participation in the ITA in 2014. The ITA collects data from internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, and open data on the organizational website; covering 10 indicators which are 1) bribery fraud, 2) budget misallocation, 3) power distortion, 4) asset misappropriation, 5) anti-corruption improvement, 6) service quality, 7) communication efficiency, 8) procedure improvement, 9) open data, and 10) anti-corruption practice.
