Khlong Tron Dam is constructed for the purpose of irrigation. The construction of the dam was completed in 1998. Water discharged from the reservoir into the Khlong Tron is stored by the Khlong Tron weir located at downstream far from the reservoir about 17 kilometers. The water is supplied to lower planting areas in Nam Pad and Thong Saen Khan Districts in Uttaradit Province for the maximum benefit.
