Pinning EleX by EGAT at the heart of tourist destinations, supporting EV travel across Thailand
30 March 2026EGAT and BMW opened the EleX by EGAT x BMW charging station at The Scenery Vintage Farm, a popular tourist destination in Ratchaburi Province, to support seamless EV travel across Thailand.

On March 27, 2026, Ms. Nissara Thammapala, Director of Innovative Energy Solutions Business Management Division of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) along with Mr. Krisda Utamote, Director Corporate Communications of BMW Group Thailand; Ms. Thitinan Sukkasem, Director of The Scenery Vintage Farm; as well as executives and honored guests attended the opening of the EleX by EGAT x BMW charging station at The Scenery Vintage Farm in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, to enhance confidence among EV users.
Ms. Nissara Thammapala, EGAT Director of Innovative Energy Solutions Business Management Division, said that EGAT has been collaborating with many organizations to support the development of EV charging infrastructure to enhance confidence among EV users. This collaboration includes the opening of a charging station in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, a popular tourist destination that attracts a large number of visitors each year, especially during long holidays. The presence of an EV charging station in the area helps boost confidence among EV users.


The EleX by EGAT x BMW charging station at The Scenery Vintage Farm in Ratchaburi Province features a 125 kW DC fast charger with two charging connectors. This initiative is part of a collaboration between EGAT and BMW, which have jointly established charging stations at Market Village Hua Hin in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Midwinter Khao Yai in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Porto Go Bang Pa-in in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Porto Go Tha Chin in Samut Sakhon Province, One Nimman in Chiang Mai Province, and Porto de Phuket in Phuket Province. In addition, they are preparing to launch another station at The Sky Gallery Pattaya in Chonburi Province. Presently, EGAT has opened a total of 472 EleX by EGAT and partner charging stations nationwide and aims to further expand its network to support the growing demand for EV usage across the country.
On this occasion, EGAT also donated firebreak construction tools and wildfire prevention equipment, such as gasoline-powered blowers, fire beaters, and wildfire water spray tanks, to conservation groups in Huai Phak community, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, which is located near the charging station and is regularly affected by forest fires during April each year. The aim is to support the monitoring and prevention of forest fires, helping to reduce its impact on the environment, wildlife, and the well-being of the surrounding community.
