Krabi Power Plant has several social activities with participation of community in natural conservation and environmental promotion under several projects, such as the release of aquatic species, reforestation, mangrove reforestation, sea grass planting, local culture and arts conservation, education and sports, public benefit, moral and ethical training camp, mobile medical unit, mobile dentistry service, occupational promotion for community, and religious activity.

Environmental management

Krabi Power Plant has implemented the international standard on environmental management system (ISO 14001) since 2004 to ensure the public of its environmental management as meeting international standard. The power plant has been certified as complying with ISO 14001 by the Management System Certification Institute (MASCI) on October 27, 2006.
