CSR Policies
EGAT’s policy on sustainable development is consistent with the 5th strategy of the National Strategy which is “eco-friendly development and growth” and the UNSDGs Goals No. 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, and 17. The policy framework comprises 4 main guidelines as follows:
- Striving for excellence covering environmental, social, economic, and governance dimensions
- Promoting energy and environmental conservation coupled with organizational development toward Carbon Neutrality, focusing on an increase of efficiency in the cost-effective use of energy and natural resources
- Operating with corporate social responsibility and taking human rights into account by implementing occupational health management systems and giving top priority to safety in the working process coupled with developing and maintaining human resources as well as managing relationships with organizations and nearby communities to support sustainable development
- Carrying out good governance, responding to the demands of stakeholders with balance and sustainability, maintaining power security, and creating business opportunities by using innovations and digital technologies
